Michele McCausland is the founder and creative director of RedChoux Productions. She launched RedChoux in 2007 and has spent nearly two decades producing video, photography, and creative content from her home base in South Carolina.
Her clients and agency partners have included Bon Secours Health System, Boston Scientific, Siemens CT, the American Physical Therapy Association, Chernoff Newman, CRT/tanaka, and Saturday Creative. Most of her work is rooted in healthcare, but she brings the same approach to nonprofits, agencies, and mission-driven brands across industries.
Whether she’s directing a video shoot, capturing a family milestone, or composing a portrait for a brand campaign, Michele brings the same attention to light, composition, and the small, real moments that make the work feel like them. She’s especially good at working with people who aren’t used to being on camera — patients, clinicians, first responders, executives — and helping them feel comfortable enough to just be themselves.
Her work has been recognized with Telly, ADDY, Wallie, Aster, and Healthcare Advertising Awards. She has also served on the CHPRMS Board for nearly two decades, including two terms as President, and is a recipient of the John L. Thomason Award for Excellence in Public Relations & Marketing. She currently serves as Senior Board Member and Treasurer.
Outside of work, Michele enjoys barre3, audiobooks, and hiking with her husband, Tim, and their two dogs, Baxter and Olive. Rarely without a camera, she’s happiest photographing her dogs and their cat, Trudy.
